VPN Client with M1 Pro & Monterey [message #152953]

I have some new Macs in with M1 Pro and macOS Monterey.

I downloaded the 64 bit Kerio VPN Client from https://www.gfi.com/products-and-solutions/network-security- solutions/keriocontrol/resources/vpn

However, when I try to install I get "To install "Kerio VPN Client", you need to install Rosetta. Do you want to install it now?"

Is this expected? Will installing Rosetta help?

I just install Rosetta by default on all Apple Silicon Macs being added to the fleet.

In fact with some OS updates Apple blows out Rosetta, so I have a script that adds Rosetta back if it gets removed.

1. You downloaded the wrong installer. There's a bad description on that page. 32-bit is for Apple Silicon Mac (kerio-control-vpnclient-9.3.6-5738-mac-apple-silicon.dmg) and 64-bit is for Intel based Mac (kerio-control-vpnclient-9.3.6-5738-mac.dmg).
2. VPN client for version 9.4.2 is still not available, but version 9.3.6 works
3. Yet even an Apple Silicon installer requires Rosetta to run.
