I know this to be an old topic, last I could see on a search, this was brought up in 2015.
I have a Kerio NG100, and I live in a country that has a lot of power cuts, and added to this it's not unusual for me to be over seas for up to 2 months at a time. I have a NG 100 on it's own dedicated UPS which normally keeps it alive for 2.5 - 3.0 hours. However, the duration of said power cuts can be anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours. The issue of it not automatically switching back on when the power comes back is now becoming a huge problem for me. It has just died, I'm out of the country, I need access to a number of resources on my network, but the NG100 is stone dead, and it's going to have to wait for 6 weeks until I can return and switch it back on.
Is there any solution for this, or do I need to buy a different piece of kit from a different manufacturer?
Potential solutions such a buy a larger UPS or arrange to have somebody enter your premises and switch it back on are not viable or workable solutions for me. Having a piece of kit that turns back on when the power is applied is not an enormous ask, is it?
