Please add the ability to gather user statistics regarding overall data quantity used, without collecting data on browsing history and websites visited.
Out internet connection is metered due to the cost (we are a seagoing vessel and get our internet via satellite), so we have to allocate individual quotas for users to ensure everyone has access to the internet.
In order to track users overall data consumption, kerio control also records a broad overview of their internet browsing history, and allows for some specific sites visited to be monitored. This is contrary to privacy laws in almost every territory, unless users consent.
We need to be able to monitor overall data usage to enable our policies, but we cannot currently do this without violating the privacy rights of our users. We also have a legal obligation to allow reasonable access to the internet, but we cannot currently do so as the data gathering is disabled, and certain users are regularly consuming all the available bandwidth because their connections aren't metered.
I believe this is a liability issue both for us, and for GFI.
