I just spoke a a support rep and they stated I have to add all of the account to big sur manually. That bing said i can't get the global public contacts to work.

it's apple which block that

for Big SUR :

• For shared contacts:
 http(s)://mail.example.com/carddav/users/example.com/user -name
• For public contacts: 
http(s)://mail.example.com/carddav/users/example.com/.public

on mac add contact mode advanced

So:
Name: username
Password: xxxx
mail server: mail.example.com
server path: /carddav/users/example.com/.public
port 443

change server path with . public or username with what you want
. public: contact public
user name : contact User

Someone on this forum posted this image ages ago to resolve the problem on an earlier version of macOS when Kerio hadn't updated the assistant.

I've used it successfully for 5 or 6 years (probably more).

The only issue is that Apple Contacts is stupid and sees an account being added with the same user name as a duplicate. Since we only host a single domain on our Connect server, I just strip off the the "@domain" as noted for the user contacts. I don't know if there is a workaround for secondary domains (IIRC, a percent symbol ("%") might work in place of the "<_at_>".

After adding public contacts you will need to re-enter the Server Path line as it doesn't seem to be acknowledged in the Server Settings tab of the Accounts section of preferences.
