Hi to all,

I hope that the community has more ideas as the support from GFI who is trying to get a solution but have no luck since many weeks.

Here is the story:
On some Installations with Windows 10 Pro and Office 365 (32bit Version and 64 bit Version) the Kerio connector interrupts the synchronization and restart with the synchronization. On these installations, the user have shared Emailadresses from their collegues.

The cycle interrupt - restart synchronization - interrupt - etc. runs endless until the internal SSD is complete full.

Current work around: stop Kerio Connector and Outlook 365 via Task Manager, clean the directory with the Firebird Database and restart PC. We do this approx. every 2-3 days.

Kerio has made various attemts to solve the issue, but not sucessfully (OK, one solutions has worked for approx. 2 weeks, but thats it).

Before I decide to other steps, has anybody seen such a behaviour and a possible solution?

My other possible options are:
(a) Uninstalling Kerio Connector and use IMAP Connection to connect Outlook 365 with Kerio; Calender shared via ICal - maybe a separate server.
(b) step away from Kerio and leave the remaining subscription time of 2 years unused.

Thank you for sharing ideas.

Does anybody knows a good Calender Server for Windows?

Most work is done from our external IT Supporter, but we have to pay their bill and it starts to make no more sense to keep staying with a faulty Kerio. As longer GFI/Aurea owns Kerio as more the quality jumps down.

Out of curiosity, why are you using both Kerio and Office 365 email products? Why not just drop one or the other?

Its a historical construct from Office 2013 and older. People don't like Libreoffice and Thunderbird or the Kerio Client

Office 365 for Office Products incl. Outlook, but not Exchange

Kerio because with have emailadresses with an average box size of 10 GB/10000 messages/200 sub folders

Stepping away from Kerio means we need an email-server who can support large box sizes.

I have other trouble if a user use Kerio Connect and Exchange (O365) the same time in one Outlook 365 profile. Exchange accounts grab the default storage and Kerio complain about this every time Outlook is started.
My solution is one profile for one server and let the user decide witch one he like to use if he starts Outlook. Is this an idea for you or get the problem with only one Kerio account in the profile too? If yes, is there any kind of reverse proxy in the connection who breaks the communication? If yes, take a look on the timeouts in the proxy configuration.

Regards
Andreas

Was one of the support ideas, but after a time, issue was back.

So finally no solution.
