The current beta is ONLY compatible with Intel Macs on Big Sur - there is no arm64 driver yet, they are working on it.

Using IPSec is the short-term workaround for M1-based Macs.
how long time are they going to work on it?

We're currently working on a release for the VPN client that supports the new M1 Architecture. There are extensive changes required for the release and we've made significant progress. Once the Beta is released, we will make it available via the GFI Insider Program.

GFI-Kerio,

Please appreciate the urgency this is for those of us who are your customers. Most of us are sympathetic to your issues too.

Apple's M1 is the new defacto standard of their computers and there are not options for everyone "to just wait" or to advise the company heads that solution will be out "soon". If we all could just wait, we would so please be sympathetic too?

You offered a Big Sur beta that is responsive so how about a beta for the M1 so we have something there too?
or
PROVIDE step-by-step simple instruction on how to easily enable alternative Kerio Control VPN configurations for the time being?
The reference to using "IPSEC VPN", can you elaborate what you are suggesting with some specifics?

No one is asking you to help with some esoteric bug or issue. We are asking you to help us support the current products of APPLE COMPUTER.
We are all on the same side which is to use and buy Kerio products, which in turn is good for GFI.

Thank you in advance.

Hello GFI,

I've just come across this problem with a client (50 user GFI Ultimate) on a new MacBook. Good to hear that you have it in hand and a fix is forthcoming.

We'll want to try it out ASAP. How do I get onto the "GFI Insider Program"?

I raised this issue nearly five months ago when the M1 products were released and still nothing from GFI

At the same time I had the same issue with installing the Malwarebytes AV product on an M1 MacBook and they released a fix the next day

There's a version of the current client for M1 available on the Kerio website (or at download.kerio.com). It works just fine, but on M1 it also requires kernel security turned off to allow kernel extensions. They're still working on the version that will use the new Extensions mechanism and last they said in the Insider group was that it would be out for testing "soon."

That said, the M1 version of the current client works just fine and as long as the new one is done before summer's end we should be OK.
