in the display of emails it is possible to display the date and time (because only the date appears on emails older than 1 day)

Could you elaborate on this?
What client, versions etc.
I've just checked on three mail clients (Outlook Windows, Browser client, Connect client) and all show date and time.

See what you mean.
There is actually no difference where ever you position the preview pane.
Mail received today >Time is shown
Mail received yesterday > Yesterday is shown
Mail before yesterday > Date is shown
No way to change that.

For me, when I change the preview pane to Bottom, the list with mails does show date AND time for all mails in the list, including those older than 1 day.
