There are still issues with installing the Kerio Client beta and Big Sur

Intel Mac running Big Sur works OK but the client does not install correctly on new MacBook Air M1 running Big Sur

The software installs but there is no request to authorise the app in system preferences so the app says it is not running

Als o the uninstaller does not work. run it and then... nothing

Please sort this ASAP!

The current beta is ONLY compatible with Intel Macs on Big Sur - there is no arm64 driver yet, they are working on it.

Using IPSec is the short-term workaround for M1-based Macs.

@jhtinc ... only a workaround if you haven't enabled IKEv2 as described by Kerio/GFI. L2TP/IPsec fails if you have.

If you want the Kerio Control VPN to support IKEv1, IKEv2 and L2TP/IPsec one would need to:

1. ssh into Kerio Control Box
2. /opt/kerio/winroute/tinydbclient "update Firewall set IKEVersion=ike"
3 /etc/boxinit.d/60winroute restart

As I cannot post links. Google "strongswan: 07[IKE] no IKE config found for , sending NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN" for the explanation of how Strongswan handles it.

M1 support is still not available yet. I Will update once we have a compatible version.

In the meantime, we suggest using the IPSEC VPN.

Is there a solution?

I found a solution only for Big Sur 11.0

Hello to all,
do you have a timeline/estimation date for a correct installer for M1 please. Not to rush anyone, but if delay is 3 month I prefer give back my M1 to apple and buy a new one in 3 month. I can live without VPN during one or two weeks but not during several month.
Thanks to understand the time issue and again, not rushing, just want a clean and secure date.

Best regards

If the beta works with big sur it should probably just be released and then another release for the M1. Big Sur has been out now for quite awhile. It the beta unstable?
