We started to use Zoom Room service recently and it is a location or system/hardware based conference service (not like their regular user accounts which you can use from any computers), in order to schedule a meeting for Zoom Room conveniently (like MS Outlook application), you need to integrate your Zoom Room service with another calendar service. So far Zoom officially support either MS Exchange (including Office 365) or Google Calendar. As Kerio Connect claims it is ActiveSync compatible product, I tried it myself but it seems the integration did not work at all. The first step of user authentication between Kerio Connect and Zoom Room worked perfect as supposed, but it seems like Kerio's Resource Item (Room) does not work the same way as MS Exchange Resource Item (Room), thus Zoom Room would not be able to see any calendar at all from Kerio side......Zoom has the following article to guide you how to integrate Zoom Room with MS Exchange:

support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203847339-Setting-Up-Zoom- Rooms-with-Exchange-2013-2016

Technically my understanding is that the resource item of Room in MS Exchange is on the pretty much the same level user account as the regular user account, therefore you can delegate its calendar to another user account to view, but in Kerio Connect, the resource item of Room is a special account and there is no way for you to delegate its calendar to another user the same way as MS Exchange does, though you can have any user or group selected as the manager to have a manage-privilege to manage its calendar.

Hope Kerio Connect can do something to provide further integration with Zoom (or other conference service like MS Team, Webex, etc.), since nowadays these services are used daily by millions of users around the world, and I do believe most Kerio Connect clients are using them as well.

Thanks
Kevin

We made the same experiences and appreciate a solution for integrating the ressources' calendar in third-party applications as 'pharmeng' said. Please push this forward!

Hello,

Is there any update on Kerio's ability to integrate with Zoom Room? If not, is there a workaround? Looking to use this as a resource however, if need be I can assign to an account?

Please let me know.

Has anyone got this working? I too have need to set up 4 room panels with 4 calendar resources. The calendar resources are up and running - we are scheduling meetings. I have 1 calendar integrated with my Zoom Room and meeting are not showing on the device. When I schedule a meeting from the Yealink device, I get an error but in fact do schedule the meeting when I look at the calendar via Outlook. If anyone has an update on their progress, I'd appreciate the feedback - thanks
