I noticed 'Emails duplicated in a mailbox in certain scenarios' is one of the fixes in the 9.2.12 release notes.

Now I've seen mails duplicating in the scenario where an Apple Mail/IMAP user is nearing his/her quota, and starts deleting a lot of mails at once from their Inbox. What happens next is this seems to create a kind of 'loop' where mails start duplicating on the server and the mailbox starts filling up, completely ignoring the set quota, and thus filling up all the available server disk space.
I always thought this was an Apple Mail bug, but maybe this was a Kerio bug after all and the mentioned fix is for this scenario?

I've seen GFI's Ian Bugeja around on this forum, so maybe he can shine his light on this? Thanks!

Hi

Yes, Backspin this was a very old Kerio Connect race condition bug, resulting in duplication of emails. It typically resulted from a move operation (since delete typically moves emails from the folder to Deleted Items). It was also how Apple Mail used to send the commends to Kerio Connect.
