Hi there,
I think I found a solution for this years ago but can't remember how I did it.
A customer has a KC with 2 domains: a.com and b.com. Of b.com, there is only one single address on the Kerio, let's say info<_at_>b.com, the rest of the accounts are with the external hosting provider.
Now, if anyone with *@a.com sends a mail to *.b.com but not to info<_at_>b.com, Kerio can't deliver the message because it feels it's responsible for whole b.com and can't find the address.
That's where the "if not found on host, forward to server" field in the domains in Kerio is for - however you can't enter smtp authentication dafa here, so you can't relay to an external server. This has been like this for ages and I guess Kerio (now GFI) never implemented it just to sell more licenses.
Anyway, a couple of releases back the custom smtp relay stuff was introduced and I feel I did something there. I entered credentials for smtp auth in there with an entry the same as what I entered as relay server under domains, unfortunately this does not authenticate relayed mails. I also made a rule "if recipient address is *<_at_>b.com use this relay server" but Kerio tries to deliver locally first and fails.
Long story short I need an option for split delivery of mails, how can I do this? Thanks!
