Few problems/annoyances with saving mail as source.

Saving mails as source to our file servers is an established process in my company not likely to change anytime soon.

Since we switched to Outlook, which only saves proprietary .msg files or .txt files with a truncated mail header, we have been relying on webmail to save these .eml files.
(I'm allowed to use Thunderbird, which doesn't have this problem and natively supports saving as .eml, so I didn't notice until someone complained)

Kerio Connect is V 9.2.10 beta 2 (4652), Clients are Win10 w/ latest Firefox.

On Firefox saving works best. Right-click "View source", press CTRL-S and a save dialog box pops up with e.g. "00006d7b.eml" as the file name.
Only annoyance is: I'm saving multiple mails, close the source window, log off then close the browser. Upon reopening it, the main browser window with all its tabs opens and (always two?) of the source windows open again with the sources. Firefox is set to restore the last session as users have multiple tabs they work with.

On Brave (Chrome Fork?) the save dialog defaults to .txt. Saved files are shown in the bottom bar but never make it to the selected directory. "(Removed)" is shown next to the file name.

On Connect Client in the "View source" window there's no way to save the source, apart from selecting all, copying and pasting into a text editor. Too awkward for my users.

Does anyone have a halfway elegant workflow for saving emails as .eml?
