IRS requiring two step authentication [message #146248]

I have a couple of CPA clients and the IRS is telling them that not doing everything possible to protect clients inf may be seen as criminal and they are asking me to setup two step authentication. Can I do this if I have both control and connect at their sites?

2FA is not currently available with Connect out of the box

We highly rate Authy for the 2FA authenticator
