Kerio AntiSpam, Bit Defender or Both ?[ 6 votes ]
1. Kerio Anti-spam 0 / 0%
2. Apache SpamAssassin 1 / 17%
3. Both 5 / 83%

Just wondering what you are using and why.

I think I was using Kerio Anti-spam at one point but turned it off (due to some technical problems at the time) and have been using SpamAssassin only. Am considering re-activating Anti-spam but just wondering how it is working for people.

Thanks,

ft.

If you can pay the money, I would use both. I used SA for a long time in Kerio, before the additional stuff, and it worked ok. With the AntiSpam the detection got better by a good margin. Here's how I use the Anti-Spam currently.

4.5 mark, 6.5 reject for spam, Bitdefender positive adds a score of 5, SPF miss 5, blacklists 1-4 (depending on the list), caller ID 2 and some additional rules.
