Hey guys,

We currently have a Mac OS X server on which Kerio Connect is operating. However, we would like to transition Kerio Connect so that it can operate on a Linux based server.

We have attempted to restore a full backup but we are receiving that usual warnings that our license is only valid for Mac OS X. In this regard, we wrote to the sales team at GFI about this issue but we have not heard back.

I was wondering if any of you had the experience of transition their Kerio Connect server from one platform to another and the steps that were taken to do so (only in respect of the license).

Thanks.

Use this link and change the OS. This activation wizard will generate the license key file, which should be imported to your Kerio Connect server.

Thank you for the response. Quick question. If we generate a new license key file, will it revoke our existing license ? I am asking because I would like to continue using Mac OS temporarily whilst I am testing the server on Linux.

You may get error messages that says the license is not for this OS. If you want to test on Linux, you can get a 30-day trial key from the website and update the OS of your key when youre ready to move.

We do have the same question. We would like to migrate all data to the new server while running both mailserver side-by-side to check for any issues. Unfortunately our 30-day trial licence expired. How can we generate a new 30-day trial key?
