Found another bug -

under Configuration / SMTP Server / Security Options / Additional Options

there is a option for 'max number of recipients in a message'

Previously we did NOT have this ticked and it was left disabled - which was working fine.

After upgrading to 9.2.8 if any user tries to send mail they would receive a bounceback from the server immediately '4.5.3 Too many recipients, maximum recipeint count 0 exceeded'

I have now had to enable the option with a limit to allow mail to send out.

Pls fix ASAP. Thanks.

Updated failed yesterday for me! Was running 9.2.7 on MacOS 10.10.5 before the update. I used a downloaded updater file from the website to update (NOT the web-update-process). Update itself went well - no errors. After few minutes the admin UI came back up normal and I could log in. But after 1-2 more minutes the whole backend UI and even normal webmail went offline. A normal Kerio restart from the system preferences didn't work - not even restarting the whole machine. I uninstalled then the 9.2.8 and re-installed the same 9.2.8 version but with no success at all - activity monitor showed sometimes "crash reporter". I removed 9.2.8 again and re-installed the previous 9.2.7 and everything now works again as usual.

Error log for that time after the update:

Hi,

have anyone tried to upgrade to this latest version and run on Windows Server 2012 (not R2) which isn't among supported OS anymore?

Thanks

Hi all,
we were been waiting for the activesync fix for 4 months.
We upgraded our ubuntu server with Kerio Connect from 9.2.7 p3 to 9.2.8, the upgrade went smooth but..same bugs are here...
During the sync outlook stucks on Syncing Calendar, attachments are displayed double... I cannot believe.

Since GFI acquisition, Kerio Connect is sinking... we now have to move all customers under Office 365 to have activesync working... they thrown a fantastic software in the trash.

Why you don't using KOFF for outlook? I think, that ActiveSync support for Outlook does't have all features like KOFF or native Outlook<->Exchange.

See limits describtion on GFI help page :
Creating Exchange ActiveSync accounts in Microsoft Outlook

Can someone else confirm that this problem still exists?

9.2.8 shows in his release notes compatiblity with Outlook 2019

we still have the MAC OUTLOOK v16.20 calendar problem of deleting calendar events after accepting them.

9.2.7p3 for me was ok before the OUTLOOK MAC v16.20. It is still a race between MS and Kerio Embarassed

Development is already working on this. Kindly open a Support ticket so we can update you.

Had the exact same issue this morning on two sites after upgrade and also now have an issue
on one site where although spam checking is NOT enabled Kerio thins it is and a lot of mail going into
spam folder.Only fix i could come up with was to ENABLE spam checker and set tag & Block score to 10
which basically disables it.
Very unhappy with these major bugs and will engage with these customers tomorrow as regards moving
to a more stable platform

I now upgraded a production server to 9.2.8 (on Windows Server). There was one issue that was already reported here:

After the upgrade, nobody could send any emails anymore. The error we got back was:

Quote:
Result: failed, Status: 5.5.2 452 4.5.3 Too many recipients, maximum recipeint count 0 exceeded., Remote-Host: 127.0.0.1

The fix was to go to

Admin -> SMTP-Server -> Security options -> Max number of recipients in message

Tick the box and insert 1000 recipients.

After that change, all users could immediately send again.

Upgraded a few customers over the last 24hrs and experienced this problem as well as emails getting tagged as spam although the SPAM filter is turned off.
Only workaround was to ENABLE the spam filter and to set tag & block score to 10 which basically disables this.
Not very happy with this at all as this version has been out since before Christmas and still has major bugs like these.
Will be discussing other email solutions with customers tomorrow.

Don´t install it if you use Kerio Connect with Outlook and KOFF! From some sender we miss the pdf attachments. You can see them in Kerio Webmail but not in Outlook!
A Update without those issues like the last months would be nice...

the main reason is the search slowness of the koff.
Untill activesync + outlook worked correctly there weren't customers complaints.

I upgraded my Mac to 9.2.8 last night. Everything worked fine under 9.2.7, but since then my server is not able to receive or send email from any machine. I can see in the logs that email is processed. Because everything else works as normal.

When I send an email, I get this error message : Result: failed, Status: 5.5.2 452 4.5.3 Too many recipients, maximum recipient count 0 exceeded

In the logs I see incoming emails with the same error message. I definitely have not changed any parameters. Any suggestions ?
