Hello,
I have a question to which I can't find an answer.
I have 2 public contact file one for my clients and one for the suppliers, each of about 10,000 contacts.
I am on RDS and sometimes my synchronization revives, why? I do not know, but because of these 2 folders of contacts the synchronization puts a crazy time and consumes all the CPU of my server RDS.
Is there an alternative to these contact folders?
In addition we are many to have access to these public contacts and if the sync starts for several people then the server becomes unusable.
For information my RDS servers are on SSD (also kerio) with 4CPU / 24GB of RAM

First of all, 10k Contacts+ over Public Folders is IMHO bad design. Maybe you should split them up a bit if possible. You can actually search different contact lists all at once.
For the TS itself - if you have Kerio already on a SSD ... are you working with folder redirection for the user folders? That way the cache would lie on a remote server and NOT on the local SSD. You can change that with a registry entry. You use KOFF or?
Another thing is - 4 CPU's and 24 GB RAM is fine for maybe 2-3 Users, not more. Especially if you run programs etc. that use quite a bit CPU time. How many Users work on the server at the same time? Kerio's connector already needs quite a bit CPU time to sync, Outlook then too, even more so with many contacts. I guess Outlook is here the main problem, because it needs to display every shit and can only use one CPU core. You could try to change the contact list from cards to list entries or something like that. Maybe that's better.
Last but not least, it could also be a virus scanner. If you run one, you need to exclude at least the kerio connector .exe and/or the cache folder. Outlook should NOT be excluded. At least if you don't have an additional Addin that does the scanning.
