I have for one local user the following error:
Relay attempt from IP address 88.123.1.2, mail from <john@domein.nl> to <james<_at_>house.net> rejected.

This IP address is on the whitelist!

Any ideas?

Which of the domains is hosted on your Kerio server? domein.nl or house.net or none of them?

Domein.nl is hosted on the mailserver.

OK, so you are sending from Kerio to <_at_>house.net.

I guess 88.123.1.2 is not the IP address of your mail server, but some external address.

Depending on the settings, you will have to authenticate to Kerio to send mails out.

What are your settings on

Configuration > SMTP Server > Relay control?

The IP address I mentioned is fake. But in real the IP address is the address of the mailserver.

In the items "relay permitted for." they are all on.

OK, and how are you sending the mail, via Outlook or via Webmail?
