Dear all,

I use two connections to my post office with Outlook 2013 and one with Outlook 2016.
I saw since some weeks some 'not in sync effects in email' at Outlook 2013 installation (e.g. delete an email was not done in sync with the server).
Now I have a bigger iisue with the calendar - this is completeley not in sync - the server entries are OK, but not transferred with activesync to Outlook 2013 and 2016 ! I ve done a complete new synch/deleted the mobile device entry at the server - no change.
What is going on here???

There are a number of posts here talking about issues between different devices and the calendar. Many have to do with different Activesync versions, in which your post shows similarity. So, there is no fix at this time that I'm aware of.

Dear all - I solved that issue by going back to KC Version 9.2.5 update3 in the past. At the end of 2018 I upgraded to version 9.2.8 assuming that the activesync issue is solved in the meantime - unfortunately NOT !
I testetd it with a new Outlook 2016 installation - it begins synchronizing a lot of emails, but not all and it hangs in a session called ' calendar synchronizing' in the outlook status line.
Has anybody a solution for that?

Hello, we reopened the Calendar + Outlook (activesync) issue with Development. We also noticed similar issues with Outlook 2013 and 2019. ETA is March 2019

This gives us a hope - keep in mind that the development must test this under typical conditions - we see this effect with a long time used mailbox (more than 7 years). Not sure if that is important, but it can be. We haven't done a test with younger mailboxes. I can confirm the same with Outlook 2013.
Tested activesync right now again with the new patch 1 of 9.2.8. - the same, no improvement regarding activesync

The fixes for 9.2.8 Patch 1 doesn't include ActiveSync. Indeed it happens to certain mailboxes only and could be related to the size of the calendar. I would suggest also to open a Support case so we can update you of any progress. You can reference this forum link

Stupid question but have you checked how many objects are in the calendar folder? I had a user last year when the syncronisation with the iPhone stopped everytime. The reason was finally 6,000! calendar entries. He used the calendar like PostIt and had entries that were over several years old. Very Happy
One more question, which Activesync version is used? Stands under User Management / More Actions / Mobile Devices. For one user I have to remove the device (NOT WIPE!)
But in another case, however, we also have a problem with ActiveSync, again an iPhone and I´m not sure i can blame Kerio for that cause Android and Windows Phone´s working fine.

Thanks for the hints - I checked the calendar path and see about 1800 messages, but I think that is not too much. The KC version 9.2.5 p3 was able to do complete sync. By the way - it's not only a calendar issue - the sync process hangs anywhere in the calendar area(I assume that) and any following tasks for e.g. email like sent objects are not processed.

Dear all, I made some checks and deleted some old calendar entries, no change. Today I installed the new 9.2.9 beta - no change. I suggest to provide a log entry for activesync activities to get some more details what is stopping the overall sync-process.
Old and new Email entries in the Inbox are synchronised, new incoming calendar entries too, but not the older appointments and subfolders of the Email area.
It seems related to only one special mailbox, but I can not see any difference to other boxes in the file area.
Anyy hint or idea what els I can do?

..in addition the KOC works with Outlook 2013/2016, why not with activesync of kerio?
I think it's time that GFI pushes the development of KC to fix errors and extend the funtions, e.g like other groupware tools around.

Hi,
Could we include in this thread all day event scheduling problems?

Since going from Estern Standard Time to Estern Daylite Time (advance time an hour), we get all day events scheduled from 23:00 the day before. Time change seems to have caused a confusion between Outlook, Pixel phone and iPad.

Any idea how to fix this?

PS: Upgrade from 9.2.7p2 to 9.2.8p1 didn't change a thing

Does this discussion of ActiveSync issue extend beyond Calendars to Contacts as well? Someone showed me a similar issue on his Android based phone yesterday where only some of his contacts were present on the phone. A new contact they added didn't show up.

Just to keep all in the round informed - good news today with the new beta release (9.2.10 beta 1)- the active sync processing works properly now in our installations - the calendar and all other Email sub folders are in sync now.
Hope it works for you too.
