While GFI gets the final problems ironed out on the Kerio Connect update, I think I might want to update my server OS. We have a virtual machine with the full OS and Connect installed, not the VMWare appliance. Currently it is running KC 9.2.1 on Debian 7 (Wheezy), and looking at Debian 8 (Jessie). I know some basic linux stuff, but not really an expert. I found this page which seems to align with what I can recall about doing version upgrades.

Tips from anyone more expert than me would be welcome.

I'd be tempted to migrate back to Windows, since I'm the only one who anything bout Linux in this shop. But when we converted from Win 2008 server to Linux, we got a significant performance improvement that we do not want to give up.
