We have different client on Kerio.
- Apple iPad
- Apple iPhone
- Mac Outlook 2011
- Windows Outlook 2007

We are used version 8.x.x and everything worked fine.

After upgrade Kerio Connect to version 9.2.1 we have big trouble with public calendar.

When we add or edit all day event in iPhone or iPad (iCal), Windows Outlook has a problem.
This event in Windows Outlook have time zone UTC +00 (Monrovia, Rejkyavik) and start at 23:00 day before the event day and end at 23:00 event day. (screenshot in attachment).
All clients and also Kerio Connect are in time zone UTC +01 Prague, Amsterdam ...

We are try change all setings but we have not correct result Sad

In personal calendar everythink work fine.

Any soulution ???

Can you attach .eml source file of all day event created in iPhone (before it is affected by Windows Outlook?)

There is .eml source file:

01 - created dayly event by iPhone
02 - change time zone from Reykjavik to Prague- after this in iPhone and Outlook mac event is changed from allday event to day event from 23:00/0:00 beforeday
03 - edited by Outlook Mac to allday event, after this everything OK, in Windows Outlook is not timezone info

We are don't using iPhone or iPad for creating and editing any public calendar event Sad. It is not good result!

Thank you very much for your help, this is really an issue in Kerio Outlook Connector. Is seems that iPhone creates all-day events without timezone definition (it makes sense as all-day events are considered all day in any timezone). Unfortunately if timezone definition is missing in the eml, Kerio Outlook Connector uses GMT timezone instead of local timezone for all-day events.

Fix should be in the next Connect release.

This time you probably hit an issue in Outlook's rtf parser. I checked attached message and I found out this strange behavior. If there are several lines and last oft them ends by ')' character (and some other conditions are met), all of these lines are considered as a single paragraph.

We can't change this behavior (it is coded in Outlook) nor change the way how KOFF generates rtf (used rtf is generated by Microsoft rtf edit to prevent similar issues due to incorrectly formed rtf. Using some 3rd party library instead would just bring more issues).

So I can just recommend a workaround. If you need to keep ends of lines exactly as you wrote them, make sure that the last line doesn't end by ')' character. Either write some character after the ')' (unfortunatelly it can't any white space or '.' character, however e.g. semicolon or comma is fine), or make sure that line ending by ')' is not the last one.

Hi,

Has this been fixed in kerio-connect-koff-9.2.5-3336-p3-win?

I am experiencing similar problems on a new installed laptop. All day events are shown from 08:00 to 08:00 the next day. Time zones are identical on Server and laptop.

When I add the calendar directly in Outlook (2016) through shared calendars, the events are displayed correctly.

Hi everyone!
I'm also experiencing problems with all day event scheduling. We were using 9.2.7p2 and it looked fine, but we change time for summer from EST to EDT (we're in UTC-5). Then we began to have all day event getting scheduled from 23:00 on the day before.
I upgraded to 9.2.8p1, but it's the same.

While digging, I realized the Android phone is using Toronto UTC-4, but the server (Windows) is using UTC-5 EDT. It comes to the same time, but it seems confusing for Kerio.

I also looked to specify Time Zone for a user, but it seems operating system of the device or computer (Windows, IOs, Android) is used as reference.

It's messing up calendars. Has anybody found a solution?

Thank you
