We have been using the default self-signed certificate for a long time on Connect.

Recent updates to some software are rejecting that certificate (FileMaker in particular, but that's not the only one).

So, I purchased & installed an intermediate certificate from GoDaddy.

In SSL Certificates view the original 'self-signed' remains the Default certificate. The new GoDaddy cert is shown as Active certificate.

If I switch so GoDaaddy becomes Default I assume new accounts created with the Kerio config tool will use the GoDaddy cert. I assume other services sending over SSL/TSL will use the GoDaddy cert.

But will existing clients (OSX Mail and iOS mail) that were set up using the Kerio tool and teh self-signed cert be affected in any way?

No, the certificate you bought from Godaddy will be trusted by all devices, so there should be no problem there.

In the workst case, you just make the old certificate the default again to roll back. That's just one click, so no big deal.
