Hi all,
I need to change the OS on our Kerio Connect Server, right Kerio is running on Debian 6.0 and we need to change to Ubuntu Server 14.04. This is a virtual server running on VMWare ESXi host. The data directory on Kerio is on a separate disk and mounted as /mail_data.

I planning to create a new virtual machine on the same VMWare host, install Ubuntu Server 14.04, install Kerio Connect (same version as previus) and transfer the configuration from the old server to the new. Then, stop kerio connect, unmount the data disk on the previuos server, connect it on mounted on the new server as /mail_data and start again Kerio Connect on the new server.

Sounds like a good plan, but I would like to know your opinions or experience in case you have done this before.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Amedina
