Does client must be updated if server is updated [message #132182]

Question before upgrading from 9.0.0 beta 3 (54) to 9.1.1.
If I upgrade the server does the client have to be updated too for it to work.
Is the client forward compatible with the new version.

What I'm trying to say is say a 9.0.0 client tries to connect to a 9.1.1 server will that work?

If by client you mean Kerio Outlook Connector then yes, the client will be automatically upgraded after you update the server.
