Hello,
next week iOS 10 and macOS will be released. Does Kerio 9.1.1 support both? Did the developers at kerio test it with the lastest beta/golden masters? Or will kerio be releasing 9.2 to support iOS 10 and macOS?

Thanks.

We started to test latest GM builds of macOS and iOS right after it was released.
Preliminary results (and tests of previous preview builds) show that iOS will be probably supported with released Kerio Connect 9.1.1.
For macOS 10.12 support on both server and clients the server will require upgrade to Kerio Connect 9.2.

Thanks for the quick answer. Nice to hear. One further question: Which EAS version will kerio 9.2 support? The new 16.1 ? Just asking because i read that iOS 10 will support 16.1

Thanks

Do you have any particular EAS 16.1 feature supported by iOS in mind? Because EAS 16 is supported with iOS 9 too but the client in fact does not use any EAS 16 feature.

I just read that iOS 10 will be supporting EAS 16.1 and it would be nice if Kerio can handle it/support it. So EAS 16.0 is already supported right?

Especially the draft syncing would be really nice.

Quotationt:
We are happy to share that iOS 10, announced June 13th at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference, plans to support the above features of EAS 16.1 when it releases in the fall. Apple has also announced support in the same release for draft email syncing, which was introduced in EAS 16.0, the OAuth 2.0 protocol for authorization of Outlook.com accounts and support for forwarding meeting items.

I'm not sure the Apple is able to sync Drafts in new iOS. It was not functional in iOS 9...

Hey great and lovely Kerio guys, (I mean this! Smile

So macOS Sierra is now out and in the open...and I just know some of our clients will ignore our advice to hold off the upgrade for a while...
As "punishment" they will have to start loving the webmail as you have mentioned macOS Sierra will require an updated Kerio Connect version 9.2

Is there a rough indication you can give on the release of the 9.2 update? as in; are we talking days or weeks?
Just so I can inform the bosses, and not look like a total noob not knowing whats going on Razz

peace, and thanks for your ongoing effort trying to support the Mac as much as possible (Apple is not making it easy for you, thats very clear!)

PS. updating to iOS 10 was a very painless upgrade and kept the kerio profile working flawless, no need to reconfigure Kerio what so ever Smile

Rock on!
greetings from Amsterdam!

We talk about weeks. Beta version of Kerio Connect 9.2 is available for closed group of betatesters.

macOS Sierra update is now downloaded by default to all users. Isn't it about time Kerio Connect is Sierra compatible?

Good idea. I would also prefer a "inter-release". It does not have to contain new features, only an official support for macOS and iOS 10 would be enough.
