Is there a way to create an auto-responder for the entire server?
We are changing our domain name (due to legal reasons) and we need to notify & remind people about the new one whenever they send a message to the old domain (which we will have for another 10 years, but we can't use it as our primary).
Using the server-wide message filters, I can determine the incoming domain and send an auto-reply if needed, but I am assuming that this is for for every message from each sender.
Is there a way to send the auto-reply once per week per sender (or something less frequent than every message)?
While we need to notify senders of the new domain, I don't want to really overly annoy them.
Also, if I use "Recipient", does that cover To, CC & BCC?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Jon

I would use an outgoing message footer (configurable in the domain settings), to say something like "Please note that our domain is now 'newdomain.com'. Please update your address books. Still gets attached to every outgoing message, but is less intrusive. You can turn it off for internal-only mail. You could get sneaky and use HTML to have the message a relatively large size at first, then get smaller as time goes by.
