Hello,
I have a strange issue where we have more active users than mailboxes. Our license limits us to use 145 accounts. Currently, our Dashboard in Kerio Connect, says that we have 142 mailboxes created, and 145 are active. Isn't that a bit strange? If I count the mailboxes by myself I count 142 acive mailboxes. It actually says:
Number of users allowed by the license: 145
Number of active mailboxes: 145 (142 created)
I have 7 domains and 1 of these has users from Active Directory. The version of Kerio Connect I'm using is 9.0.1 (32-bit). Does anyone had same issue? What's the solution to this? Or is it normal and did I miss something? We are now forced to add a license of 5 persons, while in my opinion there are 3 persons/licenses available.

I just looked at one of my Kerio Connect servers. This one is licensed for 40 users. There are 22 mailboxes created, and 7 of the 22 are active. This is normal. This means that these 7 mailboxes are the only ones that have activity. Checking for new messages, sending, receiving, syncing calendars and contacts, etc. You will see the number of active mailboxes go up and down. If you check it early in the day before users start checking their email from all of their devices, the active number will be low. If you check it later in the day, the active number will be higher. Perhaps the reason why your active mailboxes is higher is because of public mailboxes such as resources. Have you contacted Kerio support about this? I'm sure they can answer this quickly.

@KolibrieICT: Is a deleted user (but leaving the mailbox-folder intact) also counted as an active mailbox? As far as I thought only activated users are counted towards the license limit. We hare currently more inactive mailboxes (a lot more) than what is counted as active users.
@Think Fixed: Yes, 7 active mailboxes out of 22 is normal. And it's correct that the number goes up and down. But the down only occures when I deactivated an account, as far as I can see. Currently I have 142 created mailboxes where 146 are active. And that 1 extra became online at a moment I didn't create an mailbox or public resource (as the count of total mailboxes was still on 142).
I didn't ask Kerio about it. My first idea was to ask the community (here) what to think/know of it. I will ask Kerio.

I did see the page, but I now looked at it more closely. Am I correct that it maybe is because of users are active, since the last restart of Kerio, and some accounts are closed. But those which are closed are still countend towards the user count limit?
But that seems to be incorrect. When I disable an account, I see a decrease in active users and in the created mailboxes. That way, it should not be possible to have more users active than I have mailboxes.
