I use MxToolbox Blacklist to monitor our Kerio Connect server. I noticed today that the Sky RBL is the most active RBL:

Anyone using Sky RBL? Settings? Effectiveness? Tips?

Thanks,

Haven't heard of them before, they seem to be pretty new (2015).

I have not tried them, I am not sure what "activity" means. Number of changing blacklisted IP addresses?

You can find a list of blacklists with an effectivness rating here:

Will,

I added Sky to my list of RBLs a couple weeks back and it doesn't seem to be flagging anything unusual (e.g. a false positive).

I'm currently adding just a half point to the score with Sky, just to get the entry into the log so I can review what it's flagging.

If Barracuda, SpamCop or Invaluement hasn't blocked the message, Sky is flagging the true junk pretty thoroughly. Usually it's in conjunction with another list (UCEProtect seems to be the most common), but sometimes just solo.

I'm pretty comfortable with their flagging and will probably up the score assigned to hits later this week (I like to have about 4 weeks worth of data before really setting a "real" score).

Cheers,
Jon
