I'd like to experiment using whitelisted.org to see if it might improve deliverability of mail that barely exceeds our tag score.

I'm assuming that I'd use it like a blacklist, but simply subtract (i.e. add a negative value like -3) to the message score.

Is that the best way to set this up? Is anyone else using a whitelist? And if you are using a whitelist, which one(s) and why?

Thanks for the information and help.

Cheers,
Jon

Whitelists are not as widely used as blacklists and probably not as effective.

As you correctly said, you would add it as blacklist and give it a negative score.

There is also the Spamhaus whitelist I am aware of, but not any others.

https://www.spamhaus.org/whitelist/

I would just try them and then check in the Security log how much hits you get.

I'm using a pretty aggressive score for blacklists (+5-6) and dnswl.org whitelist with a negative score (-5) which works ok for me. dnswl.org provides none - high ranking which is unfortunately not considered by Kerio Connect.
