Kerio Server Version: 9.0.1
Operating System: OS X 10.10.3
Hardware: Mac Mini 2012, Quad Core i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD
Just before Christmas I migrated a customer from from Kerio Connect 7 to Connect 9. I used the documented process of backup and restore using Kerio Internal Backup.
As you can see from the attachment according to Kerio they are using approximately 154GB of space but the issue I have is that's not correct.
OS X is using approximately 10GB of Space and the Kerio Store Directory is 59GB.
All backup and archive files are stored on a Synology RS815 NAS.
OS X Disk utility agrees with Kerio.
Will it break Kerio if I give myself permissions to see the contents of the Kerio install folder. On Windows as an admin can see all the files in Kerio Connect but on a mac I need to overide the default permissions
Any thoughts from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Think Fixed wrote on Sun, 21 February 2016 16:33First off, you should get all of the Kerio data off of the Mac mini's internal drive, and move it to an external. I have one onsite Kerio Connect server that I manage, and it's a Mac mini late 2012 with a Promise Pegasus Thunderbolt RAID. It runs great. There are never any disk I/O problems with this server. Everything is very fast. Have you checked the disk space used for archives? That might be what's eating up the extra space. You could also contact Kerio tech support for help on this if it's urgent.
I second this. External drives is absolutely the way to go. We used to deploy Kerio servers using the Promise Pegasus in RAID 10 config - still have several working very well. Our new config is actually using the G-Tech G-Speed Studio instead of the Pegasus. The G-Tech's use Enterprise class hard drives... the Promise Pegasus does not.
