How to get AD Kerio snapin tasks to change domain and disable user's ability to set password? [message #126850]

We have AD 2012 and Kerio 8.5. We use the Kerio snap-in tasks for the users and computers that lets us create a mailbox remotely. But it always tries to use domain.local instead of domain.com which is what we use for our email addresses. I also would like the creation process to default to users NOT having the ability to change their passwords, but by default it sets that to enabled. Could anyone provide some pointers for these two issues?
