Bud Durland wrote on Thu, 06 August 2015 19:26<_at_>Preeexo - I really can't put much of this on Kerio. They've made API's publicly available, and have used documented standards (CalDAV, CardDAV, etc). If developers choose to not take advantage of that, I can't blame Kerio. It is in no small part, I'm certain, a matter of resources. Go after the biggest target. For someone developing a connector for SalesForce, that target is obviously Exchange.
I agree that Kerio is probably doing a much better job than MS with Outlook. Unfortunately I have never gotten the Caldav interface to work on Kerio though. I actually just went ahead and asked for help on my problems, maybe someone feels like looking into my trouble with the caldav interface: http://forums.kerio.com/m/123366/#msg_123366

EDIT: In an ideal world, I think the customer would prefer that Kerio Connect and SFDC communicate directly as anything involving Outlook as a middle-man requires that Outlook be open and connected.
Ksnyder- did the Kerio partner have any luck?
I found out this morning that we're migrating to SalesForce in Q1 of 2016. SF is suggesting we use LinkPoint360 to sync with Outlook. I was hoping to find a way to make KMS and SF sync directly - I have a couple users that only use the Connect Web Client...
Both options I know of: SF Outlook Plugin or something like LinkPoint360 - it appears we have to use Outlook as the middleman for sync'ing. I'd like to stay away from that.

I managed to implement a vtiger CRM - Kerio integration for synchronizing calendar data at first. Later card dav data could also be exchanged.
For the integration I used existing PHP libraries like sabredav, parts of the DAViCal Project and the wvrzel/simpleCalDAV client.
The synchronization is completely triggered by the CRM, only Kerios dav API is being used.
