Hi Pavel:
- Caldav protocol
- Meeting organizer in their own user's main calendar, it is shared for viewing only.
- simple event
- edit that was done was changing the date&time) of event (1 day and 1 hour later), after that it was still in the owner's calendar but totally disappeared from the invited person that had the meeting in their calendar for sure under the original conditions, no notify about it either, other user was using kerio connect webmail so was reading straight from server.
- Calender app in OSX 10.10.5
This is the only occurrence that i could fully catch all details about, i do however get more reports like these (using various clients,os's and protocols) but depending on what the user remembers and what i can make up from the logs its hard to track the exact path of the event.

Dear kritzresn,
unfortunately I'm still not able to reproduce the problem. I tested this scenario (with various alternatives):
- organizer creates simple meeting request in Apple Calendar
- attendee accepts event (in webmail or in Apple Calendar)
- organizer updates event in Apple Calendar (moves it one day forward)
- not proved: attendee is not notified about the change, meeting is deleted from his calendar
Apple Calendar in OS X 10.10.5 with CalDAV account, Kerio Connect 8.5.2 running on OS X
is it possible that there are other, e.g. mobile clients involved? (iPhone with Activesync account,..)
Please if the scenario is reproducible in your environment, enable "HTTP Server", "WebDAV Server Requests", "EWS" and "ActiveSync Synchronization" in Connect debug log and send us the logs.
Thank you

Hi All,
I have to pipe in here as we are having the same meeting issue and I have discovered this is NOT just happening in Outlook 2011. I get support calls daily from our end users asking when this will get fixed.
We are running Kerio 8.5.1, will not upgrade to 8.5.2 unless we know the issue is fixed in that version.
All was working find in 8.5.0 and don't really wish to downgrade to that version as a fix.
If needed I will have to open our own support ticket, but it seems this issue is not isolated to just us.
Thanks
Mike

We are also having this issue with an Outlook 2011 user. Meeting updates are not sent out for random meetings and it will stay that way for that specific meeting and the sent items don't have a record of it either. The notes also disappear for various meetings as well so it does not retain call numbers, meeting locations, etc. They aren't specific which is why it is hard to pinpoint but a good test to see if the calendar item is going to be faulty is to try and open it. If it takes a long time to open the meeting usually it is a good indicator the item lost data or meeting updates will not be accepted. The user went from Outlook 14.4.x to 14.5.x and no change. Rebuilding his index found no issues.

Pavel, this test should be done with Outlook 2011.

Well i had the issues with the Yosemite Calendar app and not with Outlook 2011 ( as we don't use that) weird thing is that i can't reproduce it myself every time, logically you can't say its "random" but for me its still in a stage where i can only reproduce it on a rare random basis...

Raising ticket is definitely o.k., but what we really need is some scenario how to reproduce this problem. Please if you are able to provide something similar to my sample above, I'll be glad. Even if it's random (in the meaning "once in 5 cases problem occurs"). Any detail is appreciated, or if you are able to reproduce it with enabled Outlook/Connect logging and send the logs. Thank you.

Just bumping this one to the top again.
*** MAYDAY ***
This is now becoming red hot. We need a fix to this nearly immediately.
We need to upgrade to Kerio 8.5.3 for compatibility reasons, but are presently frozen at 8.5.0 due to this issue.
We literally can't upgrade past 8.5.0 until this is resolved, now placing us in a very uncomfortable position.
Pavel, can you outline to us the steps that the development team are taking to resolve this?
Are they meeting on this daily?
We do need assurance that this will be resolved shortly. We have thousands of Kerio Connect users, and this relationship is now in jeopardy due to this bug that has gone unresolved for so long.
Please assure me and the rest in this thread that this is being taken seriously and being address constantly by the development team.
thank you

I agree that if this issue has not been fixed then there is no point in upgrading to 8.5.3
Has anyone done the upgrade to 8.5.3 and seen any improvements in behaviour with meeting changes and updates?
I am tempted to go from 8.5.1 to 8.5.3 as we also need to start benefiting from the new features.
Should we do it?
Mike
