I have a problem that started a while back. It seems to be a problem with the push-mail in the Kerio Client (New webmail). After a couple of minutes when the webmail client is in the background (another tab), it "times out". When you click on the tab again, a message stating "Please check your Internet Connection" comes up on top of the client. After clickin on it, the client resumes functioning.

The installation of Kerio Connect 8.50 is standard except for one thing: the website is published through Apache 2 mod_proxy. This is done to make it possible for the web server to coexist with the Kerio Connect web server.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Instead of proxy you could use rewrite or bind the Webserver to another vhost. A direct connect is way better for Kerio.

Try editing your Apache proxy config
sudo vi /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/default-ssl
and adding the following setting to your site
ProxyTimeout 1200
Then restart Apache
sudo apache2ctl graceful

Hi brose

Thanks! I've added this line and will now see if it improves the situation.

Hi!

The trick worked! The message no longer appears. Thanks for the tip.

Any ideas for the Kerio Supplied VM that has this issue. It is also behind a firewall that uses a WAF but things were perfect with 8.42
