First I would try to login using webmail.
Reason is to confirm that the username and password is working.
Is the problem specific to a single client? or is it for all your users?
The PC got anti virus? Try turning off anti virus check if it works.
If it works, you might need to configure exception on your anti virus to Kerio KOFF.

First of all - why do you use a Server with ad/dc if you use worksgroup? Add the pc's to the domain, create the users, install the kerio active directory thing and be done.
Way better then a Workgroup in a productive enviroment. Manage all from one system, do backups etc. If you already have it, just do it right
Secondly ... well, the error suggest either something is wrong with you outlook install (not activated?) OR you didn't set up the firewall on the server properly OR on the clients.
Also, like JJJCR told, exclude the %Userprofile%\appdata\remote\Kerio (out of memory, look up the right one) path from any kind of antivirus. Kerio KOFF saves a cache on the local user files with mails in it. If there is a virus or something attached, the antivirus might try to delete/quarantaine the file.
For some error searching you could also install thunderbird and try connecting with that per IMAP/POP3. You can find any information on how to do so AND what ports need to be opend in the admin docu on kerio.com and/or google.
Also you should answer the quesions from me and JJJCR
