Hi there!
No improvements or changes in Offline Connector? With large public folders, or large changes within these public folders, KOFF like to go mad ... and use CPU as much as it can.
Not funny at terminal/Citrix server.

It would be really great if the KOFF update process could be streamlined.
Having KOFF automatically update in the background and only patch (what is need) without pulling the entire installer file from the server would go a long way. Especially for people on the road having only a slow connection to the server.

For the roaming profiles/TS/citrix, we have a good solution. We changed the .bat for Kerio autoinstall (starts only once each user) so, that the cache folder is on a local drive (in our case one ssd).
The batch file creates a userfolder after the userprofile name and makes it r/w for the user only. then it adds the reg key to the specific cache folder on the local ssd. It also creates a txt file in a unc with the log and if the batch finds that txt already, it just ends. So you can "reinstall" the process if you need per user.
The Cachefolder dosn't need a raid and just one single ssd (sandforce are the best, many nice, compressable files ) is more then enough. Works like a charm and is fast as hell on a 25 user server. For the batch (copied the original one from kerio and changed it):
@echo off
REM In dieser Batchdatei werden alle Outlookprofile gelöscht, Kerio aktiviert,
REM das Cacheverzeichnis gesetzt und die Signaturen hinterlegt.
REM Version 1.0/17.11.2013
If exist \\Server01\keriocheck\%USERNAME%.TXT goto ENDE
REG DELETE "HKCU\Software\Kerio\Outlook Connector (Offline Edition)" /f
REG DELETE "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles" /f
REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Kerio\Outlook Connector (Offline Edition)" /v "Cache Root Path" /t REG_SZ /d "d:\keriocache\%username%" /f
set datum=%date%
echo %datum%
set Zeit=%time%
echo %time%
echo START %USERNAME% %datum% %time% >> \\server01\keriocheck\%USERNAME%.TXT
- Check if the txt (means the batch was already started before) can be found, if yes > stop
- Delete anything with kerio and outlook (had a previous install before)
- create the cache path on the ssd for the user
- write the .txt file

Usually it means, that there is no support in any way, if your installation on WindowsXP goes "boom". It might run, but if there are problems, you are alone with them.
Anyway - I would suggest to upgrade the Server and Clients ASAP to a newer Windows Version. AFAIK 2003 Server is still not EoL, but Windows XP is, and that's why you should get away with it. For Kerio you could also use the Linux Version (maybe as virtual machine) and could save yourself a upgrade to server 2003 + cals. But I would really recommend to upgrade the clients to Windows 7 at last. Maybe you can upgrade them to Windows 8.1, cheaper then buying Win7 anew.
