I just upgraded from 8.2.4 to 8.3.2 the other day. I noticed in the release notes that as of 8.3.0
- The **SPAM** prefix is removed from a message subject when the message is marked as not a spam, now.

This doesn't seem to work for me. If I hit the Not Spam button, the subject stays the same with **SPAM** in the prefix position.

Am I missing something on how that should work? I even tried moving one of the HAMS back to my inbox, and the **SPAM** prefix stays.

Are you using the Kerio WebClient to mark a message as "Not Spam"? This works for me. When I click "Not Spam" the message is moved from Junk to the Inbox and the **SPAM** prefix is gone.

It does not work immediately if I use Outlook and move the message from Junk to Inbox. I need to re-sync Outlook for the change to appear.

I'm using Outlook and KOFF. I didn't try it in web mail, and I'll have to try the resync in KOFF.

Thanks

Hi MarkK

I believe that this feature is currently only in the Connect Webmail client and not in Outlook/Koff at this moment in time.

Hopefully this will find its way into the connector in a future release.

I hope this helps.

Mark Price: This is not true, it is working from the Kerio side:

I move a mail from Junk to the Inbox with Outlook (drag and drop).

Now I look in WebMail: It is correctly moved to the Inbox and the **SPAM** prefix has gone.

Problem: Outlook does not refresh the subject automatically, so in Outlook, you still see the prefix.

I'll have to try this on a machine with the KOC (non-offline) connector and see if that works.

Hi all

I did a little more testing, and it does work as intended with Webmail. you mark it as not spam and it removes the **spam** from the subject.

Koff on the other hand doesn't support it automatically. it doesn't move the message for you, you have to do this manually once marked as not spam. you then have to do a cache empty to then show the correct status in the subject line. this is why I've said this isn't fully supported in koff yet.

Hopefully this will come in a future update.

Hope this helps.
