Massive Problems with Linux Clients in VM [message #114940]

Hi,

we have a lot of Linux Server instances runnig in Hyper-v.

Since update to 8.3.2 we have Problems to connect to Internet from this machines.
I can see that Problems maybee come from your Host Registering System.
This is big bullshit. This is the reason why we now search for alternatives.
I see no error in Kerio. But i notice this. When i disconnect WAN Device and Reconnect the host Registration for Linux vm machines works for some time. And after some time no Internet for this machines. All Windows and Mac Computer runs fine. An no - This is not a license Problem. It is a Problem of broken Host resgistration implementation. It is brocken since it comes with first Version. Please fix or remove it. Buy the way the dns Service is also brocken. Here we can use our own stable dns from Microsoft.

This bullshit cost me now 1,5 days to locate the error.

My apologies for your experience with Kerio Control.

Now do you mind letting us know more in details on how you believe that the host registration is the cause of the issue? If you do not want to expose the information on the public forum please open a support ticket (http://www.kerio.com/support)

Also, does it seem like the disconnection is related to DNS at all?

I make a ticket,

but i have no Options to send some Videos with ticket. Your Support System is horrible.
So i have write some mails with new question. How can i send you bigger Support files?

Simple 12 MB zip File is a Problem

I think i have found it. We have now a good working Solution since 2 days.

after i got some temp. lic file with more user from Kerio Support i see that this dind´t n help. I setup a linux on real hardware and I have the same problem.

After that I do a fresh setup of kerio on newer hardware. Do the restore of our backup. And it works now correct.

So what is the difference. The difference is that the newer hardware has different network cards. Now we have intel only network card system. Before we had a system with one intel card inside and one marvell based network card. So I think since we switch from kerio 8.2.x to 8.3 the problems comes. I think the new kernel has new networkdriver inside which has problems with our marvell based network card.
