We would like to use HTML code in our Domain Footer email signatures in order to bring a logo graphic into the signature from an externally hosted location. Likewise we would like to specify web fonts from Google Fonts within the signature. These are things that we currently do within our email clients for email signatures. Of course it is a major hassle to have to go to all 300+ stations and manually configure email sigs. We would MUCH rather do this at the server using the new Kerio Footer function. Is this possible with the current Footer feature ?

Thank You.

Yes. It is, but not by adding the HTML code directly into the footer. I just started testing this for one of my customers. I first created the HTML document, then opened it on my Mac in Safari. I then selected everything on the page, and copied it. I was then able to paste everything into the footer section in Kerio Connect. You'll be warned about graphics being linked from an outside source, but it will have no effect on the footer. It seems to work well. My graphics are hosted off of a web server.

Thanks Howie. That certainly solved my hosted graphics problem. Now what about using web fonts ? I 'd like to tell the footer to use a specific font pulled from Google Fonts. Anyone figure out how to do this ?

That's the part I haven't figured out yet. Using web fonts ususally requires using CSS, but I don't think that the Kerio Connect footer allows that yet. I'm happy to hear that I at least partly helped solve the problem.

Dont use webfonts or anything fancy - stick to normal HTML and as font Ariel. New Roman or the other one kerio provides. Also you can copy and paste the logo into the SIG builder of kerio. Almost all mailprogs disable external pictures. That way the PIC gets embedded into the SIG. And the fonts because those are available at any client system out there.

Also some virus scanner don't like HTML with tables and even more CSS.
