Hello,

from what I see the current Kerio Control release does not include Virtio drivers. Are there any plans to change that? Has anyone successfully integrated Virtio drivers into Kerio Control (or any other Kerio image)? Any ideas?

We'd love to use Control instead of our current pfSense, yet performance on our Proxmox cluster is quite bad when using virtualized nic interfaces.

Would love to hear your ideas.

Regards
Sebastian

Any news on this?

All I'd ask for is virtio support which is stable in Debian for quite some time.

Are there any plans to support virtio?

It seems, that Kerio Control still not supports it.

We are planning to install a Kerio Control in a KVM environment for a LAN-to-LAN between client site and a data center.

We would like to use Kerio Control for all our clients in their data centers. Unfortunately they use KVM.

I did some research on this and I cannot find anything related.

I guess feature request is the best bet at this stage.

I think kerio haven't plan with virtio driver. But with e1000 virtual card, you can't use max bandwidth.
although your CPU is modern CPU, Kerio's usage can't grow 700mbps. Sad

The most recent Kerio Control virtual appliance supports virtio network drivers.

Tested and running.

Wow, this is awesome news. Was this mentioned in changelogs somewhere or just came with OS updates as a "bonus"?

Any news on Kerio Operator + Virtio?

It was mentioned in Kerio Operator 2.4.0 beta 1 changelog. Then I tested with the Control which was working as well.

Thanks, I actually missed this in the release notes - and actually did not expect Kerio to include Virtio drivers at all in the future. This is good news as missing drivers was one of the things keeping some clients from replacing native Asterisk.
