I'm looking to upgrade kerio connect from version 7.3.1 to the latest version. I was wondering if the upgrade would cause the current kerio offline connector for windows to stop functioning. Would I need to update the offline connector immediately, or would it continue to work?

When your users start OutLook for the first time, it should kick off the updater automatically. Because of the upgrade gap (v7.x to v8.x), after the connector upgrade the local caching database has to be rebuilt and reloaded. Depending on mailbox size, this may take quite a while and make Outlook unavailable, so forewarn your users accordingly.
