Hallo,

is there anybody who knows if after updating from Kerio 8.1.3 to 8.2.2
it is necessary (starts automatically) to reorganize the E-Mailaccounts?

Thanks for your help

Usually not. On our last upgrade (8.2.1). after start up it did find a couple accounts that it thought needed the indexes rebuilt. It all happened auto-magically, transparent to the users.

Hi mc-mike

During any major upgrade (say from 8.1.x to 8.2.x) the system will need to do checks on indexes, sometimes it has to upgrade some of the DB files we use if we've updated them.

This is a normal process.

Is this what was happening here for you?

I hope this helps.

Hallo,

may be I didn“t explain exactly.
What I mean is it necessary to (full) synchronise accounts as
it was necessary in some updates (e.g. from 7.x to 8.x)?
These synchronising depending at the size of the account(s)
take massive time (155 User total around 1TB).
I need to know this to inform the user and also to plan the update.

Thanks for support
With best regards
