I'm interested to know how companies / organizations deal with the lack of functionality when it comes down to archiving Webmail.
Right now our organization is facing issues with mailboxes that keep growing in size and along with that the numbers of e-mails, which not only affects the overal user experience but also demands extra storage for our mailserver and thus probably extra resources in the longrun.
We do have a group of people that use Kerio Connect in combination with MS Outlook, where we can think of a way to archive mail / calendar using the Personal Storage Table (.pst). But unfortunately there is also a big group that mainly or only uses the Webmail provided by Kerio Connect. Which offers no alternative (as far as we know) but to delete mails, which is something our users do NOT like.
Maybe people from the community can give us a helping hand and come up with some 'refreshing ideas' to help us tackle this problem

With the current price for HDDs we are not talking/thinking about "to much emails" or "to much space needed for emails". We simply increase the size of our HDDs...
btw. we have all emails since 1999 in our system live.
.pst: in our company strictly prohibited. Its in our opinion a worse idea.

We have also looked into using Mailstore, but by the looks of it, it doesn't entirely do what we're looking for. The archive seems to be separated from the Webmail, so users have to login at a different page if they would like to see their archived e-mails. Which is of course not a big deal, but the point here is that they don't seem to have the possibility to archive mails from within their Webmail account. Or am I missing something here?
