As with Connect 8.2 shared calendars in iCal/Calendar appear now in the same area as my personal calendars. For that reason I need to sort them for better overview. Personal calendars first, subscribed after that.
Sorting works fine for my subscribed iCloud calendars. But if I do this with the Connect calendars, I have some problems.
1. I can't move every calendar in order. Calendars, that I don't have write permissions for, are fixed.
2. Calendars that I don't have write permissions for are always on top of the list.
3. If I change the order of a calendar I can move and put it e.g. at the beginning of the list (before a read-only calendar) , this change is lost after a restart of Calendar.
Is there any way to influence the order of the calendars permanently?
Cheers, Sven.

Isn't the sorting order stored on the server? So it seems like the client (Calendar) can't store the new order on the server. That's why it is lost after a refresh/restart of the client.
What I noticed: Under Mavericks at least the personal calendars are always on top. Bust you still can't sort the public or shared calendars that you don't have write permissions.
So for me it looks like it's a matter of client and server.

Add me to the list. They seem to be in order that they were added. Very frustrating for the users. We are running 8.2.1.
If we had know of this bug we would have waited on upgrading. Any options?
I will also add that renaming the shared calendars does not stick also.
