Hi there,
we are using the Ressource-Function in Kerio.
Since updating from 7.4 to 8.1 we are missing the "Sharing Option" for Resources (Webinterface -> Calendar- -> left side RESOURCES -> right click on the resource). On public folders it work's without problems.
When we switch to the old webinterface we can change the sharing permission.
How should these work in the new Webinterface?

Hi Itmp,
I have tested this and you are correct that there are no sharing options available for the resource calendar in the new Kerio Connect Webmail.
What I would recommend is to use the 'Feedback' button in WebMail to list this as a feature request. As tyne developers are still adding features to the new Connect client and it cannot quite do everything the old webmail can. So informing the developers about features that are missing and needed is the best way to get into the new Connect client.
So in the meantime if you need to change the sharing rights for a resource calendar you will need to switch to the old Old webmail like you have been.
I hope this helps.
All the best,
Vicky

Hi Vicky,
i will not request a feature, that was already implemented and lost, when the new web client was developed.
If this function is missing without any reason, it is a bug in 8.x and should be fixed.
Unfortunately, i'm not sure if Kerio really cares about the Feature Requests.
Take this Feature Request for example:
Company/Domain wide personalized footer
( You cannot use links until you have posted more than 5 messages.)
It has 162 votes, is top 13 and requests a very common feature in mail servers, your competitors implemented years ago.
The last feedback from Kerio regarding this topic is from 07/2011.
We migrated 120 mailboxes to Kerio Connect 2 years ago.
Kerio Connect is very stable and runs great on all different types of clients. Good job.
But i can't understand, why important features like "pre-defined signatures" or "sending mails on behalf of" are still missing, while the unimportant stuff like a chat is implemented.

Hi Itmp,
I can promise that our developers do look at the feature requests and take them on board. The new WebMail client is constantly being improved and having features from the old webmail brought over.
The new WebMail is still missing functionalities that the old one has so that is why I suggested posting this as a feature request because it is a missing functionality that our users clearly want. These need to be listed in the feature requests so that the developers can see what our users want and this is the best way to tell the developers what you need in the new WebMail client.
-----------------------
In regards to the Company/Domain footer, we have had domain footer settings in the Web Admin for a long time now. If you go to Configuration->Domains->[Edit Domain]->Footer, you can set a domain footer in there with some rich text formatting options, you can add images etc... but you are quite right that the feature request:
http://feedback.kerio.com/forums/29250-kerio-connect/suggest ions/1826307-company-domain-wide-personalized-footer
Is not possible yet. Hopefully this is something that the developers can do in the future as it would be a nice feature to have as it would save the users having to do this themselves in their email client or Webmail.
In regards to 'On behalf of' this is something the developers are working on. Support for full delegation is coming in an upcoming version of Kerio Connect.
By all means if you wish to discuss delegation/on behalf of or domain footers please open new forum post so that we can keep this one on topic about the resource functionality that is missing.
-----------------------
Anyway I hope the above makes things a bit clearer.
All the best,
Vicky

Please note, that the importance of this feature scales up with the number of employees of the customer.
If you have only 5 user, it is no big deal to define a signature on each user.
But if you have over 100 users like in my case, you have a lot of trouble with these things.
Maybe the available votes should scale with the licenses purchased...

Nice.
Maybe it would be a good idea to publish a roadmap with the upcoming features.
