Hi,
I've moved our KC 7.2.4 installation from an old Mac server to a new Windows VM. I followed the instructions
from this Kerio KB - 'How do I move Kerio Connect from one machine to another' and all worked fine and I can login to any account via webmail without a problem. I have 1 user who uses Outlook 2011 for Mac to monitor 4 different accounts and when i launch it, it tells me that the mailbox has changed for each account and wants to resync the mailbox, I know I can let this resync but I thought using kmsrecover would avoid this issue? Have I missed something that's not documented here?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
J.

I suppose that old Mac was PowerPC.
If so, then a lot of data were converted in the storage and it may affect also Outlook 2011 synchronization.

Hi Pavel,
The Mac server was an Intel xserve running 10.5.4, it only has a handful of users and it just worked so we left
it like that. I don't see any errors in the logs when I connect via webmail saying any index is corrupt or anything.
Could this still be an issue.
I've left the new server running 7.2.4 as I didn't want to change to much during the migration, it's running Windows 2008 server R2 will that run OK or should I upgrade to 8.
Thanks,
Jason

Outlook 2011 identifies user account by domain GUID and user GUID. Domain GUID can be found in mailserver.cfg, user GUID in users.cfg or in directory service (AD, LDAP) - depends on configuration. One of them was probably changed.

Ah OK, the old server wasn't bound to AD but the new one is
So that might explain it. Thank you.
