Hi,

I'm getting encrypted passworded zips blocked but cannot find what is triggering.

*.zip is not in the extension list, in attachment blocking.

When I approve these mails, they do not get delivered.

Can anyone help ?

Which MailSecurity module is blocking the files?

Normally the decompression engine would block compressed files which are password protected.

Also, you mentioned that when you approve, the email does not reach the recipient. Does this occur only to password protected archives, or to all approved quarantined items.

I had the same problem.
Password protected zip files where being blocked. When I approved them, they would just be re-blocked again. All other messages I approved worked fine, just password protected zip files had a problem.
I ended up disabling the rule under Decompression Engine.
If there's another fix for this I would welcome it.
