Checking Microsoft Products hangs at 20%

Checking Microsoft Products hangs at 20% Thursday, March 09, 2017 3:15 PM (permalink)
I have had a few computers that sometimes cannot finish a custom scan.  It will get to Checking Microsoft products and then hang at 20% and the number of audit operations processed does not increase.  Restarting does not help.  Any ideas?

    Try checking the version of Microsoft Silverlight that is installed on the target machine.  If version 5.1.30514, either remove or install the latest version.  I had a support ticket concerning the same issue and updating or removing Microsoft Silverlight corrected my issue.
