Can't get Faxmaker to archive to SQL server Wednesday, May 10, 2017 2:58 PM (permalink)
I'm trying to set up the Archive to SQL feature, I have the AD account set up on our SQL server, the server is set to Mixed Mode authentication.  We have a previous DB for this, that has DB ownership rights to it. I go into Database configuration, select the SQL server I'm going to be using, put in the DOMAIN\ACCOUNTNAME info and as soon as I try to select the database I get a "Database List Cannot be retrieved.  Login failed for user '(account I'm trying to use)'.  When I look on the SQL server logs I see "Login failed for user (Account I'm trying to use).  Reason: Attempting to use an NT account name with SQL server Authentication." I have other AD account for other DB's on this server, so I know the server should be configured correctly.  I've tried it with the Instance name and that causes a different error as well.  Did I miss something in the documentation?
