I a got a little issue with some deploy script.
I need to install into all pc clients the program Dike, a simple software to sign files,
the users can't install because are standard users and haven't right access as administrator (usually situation)
my issue is:
I tested different way to make sure the command install fine on silent mode.
1- c:\msiexec /i dike.msi /quiet <- locally I can install but need pass password (so no)
2- c:\runas /user:administrator "msixec /i dike.msi" <- locally install but need pass password (again no)
note: runas is a command not support an argument such /password so unused, and searching on the web i found cpau.exe.
using cpau.exe i can do:
cpau.exe -profile -u domain\administrator -p password -ex "msiexec /i dike.msi" -hide -nowait
but i need to run using from gfi so.
in the option:
Repair / deploy customer software /
adding dike.msi as aux file
adding cpau.exe as program to run.
passing arguments like: -profile -u domain\administrator -p password -ex "msiexec /i dike.msi" -hide -nowait
i got the "unkonw error -5"
what I missing ? what means error -5 ?
it's possible to log process to see where stuck?
thanks in advance
